Dimitra Vassilas
PartnerDimitra Vassilas was born and raised in Vancouver. Dimitra graduated from the Simon Fraser University earning a duel Bachelors of Arts degree in Criminology and Psychology. Dimitra obtained her law degree at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating in 2005. After completing law school, Dimitra worked for the San Mateo County, Association of Realtors implementing policy objectives and advocating for their interests. Dimitra returned to British Columbia and was called to the Bar in 2010. Dimitra is committed to always giving her clients a practical assessment of their case and recognizes the importance of advising her clients’ at every step of the procedure. Dimitra is experienced in various areas of law, and continues to represent clients in the British Columbia Provincial Court British Columbia Supreme Court and British Columbia Court of Appeal. Dimitra is committed to social activism and civic responsibility; she has served as the Chapter President for the Daughters of Penelope, Poseidon Chapter and continues to act as the Daughters of Penelope’s legal counsel. In her leisure time, Dimitra enjoys mentoring high school and college students through the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association and promoting civic responsibility.
Peter Bizos
PartnerPeter graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. Peter then attended Bond University on the Gold Coast, Australia, where he received a post graduate Juris Doctor Degree, graduating with honours and achieving a First in Class distinction in Personal Property Transactions. Peter is fluent in Greek and is also active in the Greek community of Greater Vancouver. He currently sits as the General Secretary of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) (Vancouver Chapter). In his leisure time, Peter enjoys playing ice-hockey, biking, fishing and traveling.
